Mrs. Dye, a lifelong resident of Springfield, retired in 1992 from Christ the King School, where she had been employed for 23 years in the cafeteria. She had also been employed by Franklin Life Insurance as a secretary.
She was a member of Christ the King Church and AARP.
Survivors: husband, Gerald R. Dye; four sons; four grandchildren; a sister, Mary Smith of Charleston; an aunt; and two cousins.
Services: Funeral Mass, Blessed Sacrament Church, the Rev. David Lantz officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
