DEY - At Arnot-Ogden Hospital, Elmira, Monday, December 20, Mrs. Julia Dey, of Penn Yan.

She was the former Miss Julia Steinhauser, of Syracuse, and widow of the late Charles Dey, of Syracuse and Penn Yan. The couple moved to Penn Yan about 40 years ago and purchased the J. O. Rupert property, corner North Avenue and Flat Street. Mrs. Dey continued to occupy the Dey estate, "Bonnie Brae", after the death of her husband several years ago. She traveled extensively and spent her winters in the South and other warm climates. She had been ill for the past several months and went to Elmira to be with her sister, Mrs. William Graham. Besides her sister, Mrs. Graham, she leaves two brothers, George Steinhauser, of Elmira; William, of Norwich; several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Corcoran funeral home, 102 East Main Street, Rev. Walter A. Henricks, pastor of Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Lake View cemetery.
