Mrs. Pearson was a native of Joplin, Mo., and had lived in Modesto since 1942.
She was a licensed vocational nurse and worked for Stanislaus County Hospital before retiring in 1977.
She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Stinnett of Kansas, Richard Stinnett of Oregon and Carroll Stinnett of Woodland; sister, Mildred Elliot of Kansas; and six grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Stevens; children, Thomas Stevens, Joyce Stevens Frazier and Gloria Stevens Croissant; and two brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Acacia Memorial Park.
