Bertha Brown rites, July 24, 1973
Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday at paradise Chapel of the Pines for Bertha Myrtle Brown, 84 who died Monday at a local hospital. She was been born July 04, 1889, in Helena Montana.
She came to Paradise from Sacramento in 1964 and before her retirement been with Pacific Telephone for 22 years in Whittier. She was a member of the Pacific Telephone Pioneers Life Member Club, Paradise Senior Citizens Association, Rebekah Lodge, Nitecaps and Craig Congregational Church.
Surviving are a son Robert of Palm Springs; two daughters, Cora Brown of Whittier and Elizabeth Vink of Paradise; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Rev. Robert Vitz conducted the service. Inurnment was in Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier. Contributions in her memory cam be made to the Heart Fund in care of the Chapel of the Pines
