A rosary was recited and a Mass said yesterday for Mary H. Baumgartner, 78, of Spring Valley in Santa Sophia Catholic Church. Burial was in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange. Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary is in charge. She died Friday at her daughter's home in Cerritos.
Mrs. Baumgartner was born in Pennsylvania and lived in the county 12 years. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hermosa Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Otto J.; two sons, Joseph Baumgartner of Mission Viejo, and Thomas Baumgartner of Riverside; a daughter, Kathleen Skopek of Cerritos; and five grandchildren. The family suggested donations to the American Cancer Society.
