Kevin Joseph Stravinsky, of Pearl River, La., passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., in a tragic motorcycle accident.He was age 32 years, a native of Gretna, La. and a resident of Pearl River. He was a 1995 graduate of Pearl River Central High in Carriere.Kevin loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was an adventurer who enjoyed skydiving, motorcycle riding, snow skiing, fishing and hunting, and a devoted family man.After Hurricane Katrina, he was a Contractor who was essential to rebuilding the Gulf Coast area. He is survived by: his wonderful wife, Melissa Holley Stravinsky; his beautiful twins, Dylan Joseph and Taydan Jaci Stravinsky; a brother, Kris Stravinsky; parents, Nancy Baker Stravinsky Isaacson and Joseph Anthony Stravinsky; Melissa's parents, Glen Holley and Arlene Taylor Holley; step parents, Lee Isaacson and Dorothy Stravinsky; grandparents, Marion and Walter Baker and Ann Stravinsky; nieces, Destiney Cangelosi and Kristen Timberlake; a nephew, Tristan Stravinsky; and step-sisters, Shawn and Donna Timberlake. Kevin was an amazing man, who will be missed by all who met him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, La. on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 2 p.m.Visitation on Thursday after 10 a.m. until funeral time.Arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home, Inc., Slidell, La.
