Cecile S. Desmond, 88, of Wallace Street, Waterbury, died peacefully at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin on Tuesday morning, Feb. 3, 2009.
She was born in New York City Nov. 14, 1920, daughter of John and Helen Sullivan. Her husband, John Francis Desmond, died in 1960. Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Bradley and husband Allan of Stowe, and four grandchildren, John, Craig, Ryan and Kelly Bradley.
At Cecile's request, services will be private. Spring burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y.
