Margaret Schneider, 92, of Dobbs Ferry died Friday, February 21, 2003. Mrs. Schneider was born on April 1, 1910 in Teaneck, NJ to Patrick and Margaret (nee Healy) Sullivan. On October 24, 1936, Margaret married Benedict Schneider. They moved to Dobbs Ferry in 1958. Mr. Schneider died in 1974. Margaret was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Women's Sodality. Prior to marriage, Margaret worked on Wall Street and developed a great enthusiasm for the beauty, culture and architecture of New York City. She loved to read and visit museums. Surviving are her children, Anne Schneider of Dobbs Ferry, Robert Schneider and his wife Elaine of Riverdale, NY, and Raymond Schneider of Riverdale, one granddaughter Allison Schneider and many loving nieces and nephews and loving friends of all ages, saddened by her death, enriched by her life. Mass of the Resurrection Monday 9:30am Church of the Sacred Heart. Visiting Saturday 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
