Josephine Z. Buckley of Pearl River, NY died December 16, 2000 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. She was 101. Mrs. Buckley was born July 13, 1899 in Yonkers, NY to James and Catherine Galvin Sullivan. She was the beloved mother of John M. and wife, Theresa of Pearl River. Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Michael Buckley June 15, 1974 and her daughter, Kathryn Crimmins December 23, 1986. Mrs. Buckley was the oldest and much loved member of the Pearl River Senior Nutrition Center for 14 years, also the oldest RSVP member in Rockland County and the 60+ Club of St. Margaret‘s R.C. Church, Pearl River. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Margaret‘s R.C. Church with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
