Services for Mrs. Maggie Broomfield, 93, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with Rev. Gary Samford officiating and burial in Gann Cemetery.
Mrs. Broomfield of Lufkin, died this morning in a local hospital. Born in Montgomery County, she lived in Lufkin most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors: sons, John of Lufkin and James of Sherman; daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Pitts and Mrs. Bertha Gibson, both of Lufkin: daughter-in-law, Mrs. Delana Stubbs of Chipley, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
