Kathryn L. "Kitty" Buffenmeyer, 72, Quentin, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at her home. She was the wife of Monroe Buffenmeyer, with whom she celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary this month. Born May 20, 1932, in West Lebanon Township, she was a daughter of the late Russell T. and Bessie M. Moyer Sweeney. She was the office manager for the Rohland Funeral Home, serving in that capacity for 52 years. She was a 1950 graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of the Eastern Star, Cornwall United Methodist Church and its senior choir. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter Kim E., wife of Charles E. Lysakowski of Orefield, Lehigh County; sisters Julia Hollinger, Shirley, wife of William Weachter, and Dolores, wife of Howard Young, all of Lebanon; brother Walter M. "Pete" Sweeney of Lebanon; two grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral tomorrow in the Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
