Linda Annette (Sweeney) Bowser, 66, of Worthington, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at home. She was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Natrona Heights, daughter of the late James E. and Carrie E. (Cooper) Sweeney.
She was the secretary of the Family Business, C.A.B. Enterprises, and a member of Worthington Baptist Church.
She enjoyed Sunday rides with her husband in their 1970 Corvette. Family was always important, and she always looked forward to attending family events such as birthdays, weddings and family reunions. Her grandchildren's events were always a priority. She attended sports events and horse shows. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily, and daily spiritual readings. She loved going to the beach, being at the ocean and collecting seashells. Showing Ms. Sugar at horse shows with her cart was a source of great pleasure. Her favorite movies were Gone with the Wind and Pretty Woman.
Survivors include her husband, for 46 years, Chester A. Bowser; son, Robert C. (Ronni Lou) Bowser, of Cowansville; daughter, Lisa L. (Michael A.) Hiles, of Cowansville; grandchildren, Jonathan and Ciara Bowser and Ashley Lynn Hiles; sister, Kathy E. Wendell, of Fenelton; brother, James A. Sweeney, of Saxonburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, in Worthington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Daniel Simpson officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
