Mr. Donald Ray Taylor, 74, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
The Davidson County native was the son of the late Charles Clinton and Aline Agnes Jones Taylor.
He was retired from the Kroger Company and later delivered for Queen Anne Florist. He enjoyed traveling, St. Augustine, FL, Vandy football, NASCAR, and watching western movies. He enjoyed being with people and making them laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Gomer Taylor; five daughters, Donna Faye Taylor, Devonne (Michael) Johnson, Darhonda Day, Debi (Chris) Arline, and Tonya Jennette; a son, Ed (Kim) Phillips; a sister, Elaine (Tom) Oakley; a nephew, Chris (Wendy) Oakley; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Chris Oakley officiating.
