Gennett "Janet" Taylor Cobb, 87, of South Haven, Michigan, formerly of Masontown, WV, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 26, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 1, 1922 in Preston County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Goff and Stella Mayfield Taylor. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Sheridan H. Cobb, who passed away in 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Cobb of Cleveland, Ohio and David Cobb of South Haven, Michigan, five daughters, Shirley Sullenberger of Masontown, WV, Nancy Riffle of Rivesville, WV, Bessie Lucas of South Haven, Michigan, Roxie Foy of Hubert, North Carolina and Susie Swenson of Mulberry, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three brothers, Leland, Roscoe, and Prentice Taylor; and one sister, Dottie Deal.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers and sisters, Florence Taylor, Willie Taylor and Cliff Taylor.
