Helen Edith Beahrs, 100, of Rochester passed away peacefully on February 28, 2016, 16 days after celebrating her 100th birthday with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dr. Oliver Howard Beahrs, parents Glenn and Ella Taylor and four brothers.

She is survived by her children Nancy (Gary) Oster, Drs. J. Randolf (Margaret) Beahrs and David Howard Beahrs, stepdaughter Gean Landy, sisters Vivian Grover and Jean Vesely, grandchildren Drs. Robert and Taylor (Ruth) Beahrs, Matthew and William Oster, great grandchildren Oliver, Earl and Harold.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 12th at 11AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 400 Fifth Ave. SW, Rochester, MN. A reception will follow.

Memorials are preferred to mMyo Foundation or Christ United Methodist Church.

Miller Funeral Home, Fridley, Mn assisted the family with arrangements.
