EMILY - Beaulah "Dolly" Arlene Brannan, age 87, of Emily, died on July 1, 2008, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby, Minn. She was born April 28, 1921, in Killdeer, N.D., to Harry and Ethel (Hay) Taylor.
She married Melvel Elvin Brannan on June 3, 1939, in Little Pine Township, Minn. A charter member of the Wesleyan Church in Emily, Minn., Dolly was a former Sunday school teacher, music director and played an active role in numerous church activities. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Virginia) Brannan; and one granddaughter, Susan Brannan, all of Emily, Minn. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvel in 1995; one brother, Edwin Taylor.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Wesleyan Church, Emily, Minn. Burial will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily, Minn. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
