Mrs. Hans Leschinsky, 66, of St. Libory died early Thursday morning, July 19, in a Grand Island hospital. She had been in failing health the past year.

Mrs. Leschinsky, the former Martha Teng, was born at Geneva, Wisconsin, to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Teng. Two years later the family moved to Howard county in Iowa and in 1900 they moved to St. Libory.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Hans Leschinsky on May 20, 1904 at St. Libory. They resided on a farm in this community until 1909 when they moved into town. Mr. Leschinsky operated a store there for many years.

Mrs. Leschinsky was baptized in the Baptist faith at St. Libory and was a member of the church there until it closed. She maintained no social affiliations.

Survivors include her husband, four sons, Louis, Elmer and Arnold Leschinsky of St. Libory and Ervin Leschinsky of Wasola, Mo.; five daughters, Mrs. John Buhrman and Mrs. John Wissing of St. Libory, Mrs. Clarence Southard of St. Paul, Mrs. Clyde Townsend, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Wayne Stewart of Dannebrog; four brothers, Charles Teng, Fullerton, Herman and Fred Teng of St. Libory, and John Teng of Grand Island; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Niemoth and Mrs. Ernest Lamb of Grand Island and 21 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Schmidt and another, who died in infancy.
