Martha Rosalie Clark, 89, of Rivesville and Fairmont died on Sunday (June 16, 2002) at Wishing Well Manor in Fairmont.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1913 at Daybrook, the last of seven children to the late John J. and Addie Tennant.
She was a homemaker and mother and worked at Westinghouse in Fairmont for several years and retired from the Jewel T. Company. Before her health failed, Mrs. Clark had been an active member of the Central Christian Church in Fairmont. She was also an accomplished seamstress.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Nancy Miller of York, S.C., and Charles R. "Bob" and Donna Miller of Macco, Fla.; five grandchildren, David Miller, Donnie Miller, Michael Miller, Cindy Miller Bray, and Connie Miller Shaffer; three step grandsons, Brian Williams, Rick Williams and Scott Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Miller; her second husband, Lafayette Clark; a daughter, Linda L. Miller; four brothers, Floyd Tennant, Wayne Tennant, James Tennant and Marion Tennant and Marion Tennant; and two sisters, Evelyn Tennant Walls and Vivian Tennant
There will be no funeral home visitation. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Daybrook Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Merrifield officiating.
