Rilla T. Ammons, 93, of Bradford, Pa., died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, in Warren General Hospital, Warren, Pa.
She was born Oct. 1, 1907, in Daybrook, daughter of the late Leslie Seckman and Mary F. Moore Tennant.
She was a homemaker and had formerly worked at Ethel Everly's Gift Shop, in Eldred, Pa. She was a 1927 graduate of Fairview High School. She was the last remaining charter member of Bradford Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Rita M. Beal, of Warren, and Carol N. Bidwell, of Rew, Pa.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Corbly "Jube" Ammons, on March 10, 1976. They were married in 1929.
Friends may call at Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, from noon Monday, Sept. 3, until the 1 p.m. service. Burial will be in Daybrook Cemetery.
