Martriarch of the Family Angelina "Gee" C. (nee Chimento) Thomas of Montville, NJ, passed away on Friday, 12/10/2010 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville at age 81.
Angelina was born & raised in Belleville before moving to Montville in 1989. She was the Secretary for the Chamber of Commerce in Montville for 12 years before retiring in 2009. Prior to that, she was the Executive Secretary to the Director for the Commission for the Blind in Newark for 35 years. Angelina was a member of St. Pius X R.C. Church & its Rosary Society, the Senior Citizens, the Women's Club and the Bacci Team, all in Montville. She was a previous member of St. Anthony R.C. Church in Belleville where she was active with the Rosary Society and the Choir. Angelina was the Matriarch of the Family. Her heart was flawless like a diamond; just like the love she gave to everyone.
She was predeceased by her brothers: Carmine, Ralph and Luciano Chimento, her sister-in-law, Michelina, and her brother-in-law, Frank J. Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Frank Thomas; & her sister-in-laws: Maria & Gail Chimento and Rose Marie Wall and her husband, Verl; she is also survived by her 14 nieces and nephews and her 20 great nieces and nephews.
