Annabelle Ruby Thomas passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in Columbus Hospital. Born in Braddock, Pa., and raised in Claxton, Ga., Ruby lived in Newark for over 60 years. She retired from Western Electric, Kearny, with 35 years of service. Mrs. Thomas is survived by three loving children, Doris Suggs of Waldorf, Md., Solomon Slade and Sharon Thomas of Newark; one devoted daughter-in-law, Sandra Slade of Newark; seven randchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
