ELIZABETH A. 'SIS' (nee Thomas), of Jenkintown, formerly of Olney, died May 21, 2008 from pancreatic cancer in her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 79. Her life was a model of love, loyalty, service and sacrifice. She created a home where everyone found love and acceptance. The measure of life is how much you love - her cup overflowed! Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Gayton. Loving mother of Hugh 'Bud' and his wife Barbara, Joseph Law and his wife Marlene, Rev. John J. Gayton of the Diocese of Wilmington, Pamela O'Neill and her husband William, Michael and his wife Kathleen, Andrew and his wife Marcia, Elizabeth Gauss and her husband Thomas, Rev. Donald Van Alstyne of the Marian Fathers and the late Joseph, Patrick, Priscilla, Thomas and Mary. Cherished grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 17. Dear sister of David Thomas, Mary Mulderig, Patricia Wishing and the late Charles, Francis and Catherine Thomas. Daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Thomas.
