From the Atlantic City Press, April 4, 1961: Eunice Braidwood, Of Conovertown, 69 Mrs. Eunice S. Braidwood of East Brook Lane, Conovertown, died at her home Thursday after a short illness. She was 69. Mrs. Braidwood was born in Oceanville and has been a lifelong resident of this county. She was a member of Bayview Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Horace M., two daughters, Mrs. Eva Mae Adams of Port Republic and Mrs. Doris DeCicco of Absecon; four sons, Leon A. Thomas of Conovertown, Lawrence of Absecon, and Clayton and Norman, both of Northfield; a brother, Clayton Conover of Oceanville; a sister, Mrs. Wilhelmena Rider of Absecon; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. R. S. DeGroodt of Bethany St. John Church, Pleasantville, officiating. Burial will be in Absecon presbyterian Cemetery, Absecon.
