Sarah Conover Thomas was the daughter of James Adams Conover and Charlotte Ruth Leeds Conover, nee Risley. She married, on March 11, 1877, George W. Thomas, son of Banner and Emma Moylan Thomas of Philadelphia. Sarah and George had three children - Harry, Edna and Leon. Sarah died in Philadelphia of pneumonia, and was buried with her Conover family members in Absecon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
