Loving brother of Faye Petronave of Chico, Shirley Cicholas of Nipomo and Patsy Van der Leun of Roseville. Best friend and loving brother in law of Marie Poncia and William Bomio both of Petaluma. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Ralph was a career newspaperman, starting his career with the Napa Register and later served as the editor of the South Lake Tahoe Daily Tribune and retired as editor of the Petaluma Argus Courier. He was an active member of the Petaluma area community where he served on the board of the Petaluma Valley Hospital Foundation, was a member of the Petaluma Golf & Country Club, former member of the Petaluma Kiwanis Club and the World War Two Pilots Association. His hobbies included golf, traveling and enjoying his family.
