Joan Margaret Baker, 72, of Afton, OK, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 peacefully at her home. Joan was born in Omaha, NE on November 10, 1938, to Mercedes Mary (Griffin) and Edward Tierney.
Joan graduated from high school and began working for St. Bernardine Hospital as a room control clerk and then retired from the hospital in San Bernardino, CA. Joan has lived in this area since October of 1996. Joan was a member of the St. Elizabeth Rosary and Altar Society and a member of the American Legion. Joan enjoyed spending time with family and her friends.
