Mrs. Marquerite C. Tierney Kirby, 83, of 711 West Parkway, widow of Thomas E. Kirby, and mother of John J. Kirby, secretary of the D. M. Read company, died at 5:45 a.m. today in St. Vincent's hospital where she was admitted Oct. 22 for orthopedic treatment.
Services will take place Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Mullins and Redgate funeral home, 1297 Park avenue. A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 10 o'clock in St. Augustine's cathedral. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.
Born in Cambridge, N.Y., Mrs. Kirby had been a resident of Bridgeport most of her life. She resided with her son.
