Largely attended funeral services were held in ST. Patrick's Church last Friday morning for Mrs. Catherine (Tierney) Malley, widow of Michael Malley, a former well known resident, who died last week at the home of her nephew ( Frederick Tierney ) in West Hartford, Conn. The service consisted of a requiem mass with Rev. Thomas J. Gritlin as the celebrant. Rev. John F. Malley of New Haven, nephew of the deceased, was present in the sanctuary. The soloist was Mrs. Daniel A. Garvey. The bearers were Martin J. Tierney, Edward McDermott, Arthur Bailargeron, Frederick Gendron, William James Mahon Sr., and Patrick Mulryan of Hartford. The committal service in ST. Patrick's old cemetery was conducted by Rev. Father Malley.
