Ruth Todd Ellis, 86 of Marietta, OH. passed away March 27, 2011 at the Harmar Place in Marietta.
She was born in Brooksville, KY. the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mattie Todd.
She was a Registered Nurse and had worked as Director of Nursing at nursing homes. She was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Ellis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Her grandchildren, Heather Laframboise and Lynette Ellis both of Windsor, Ontario and Ryan Ellis of Parkersburg. Two great granddaughters, Caleb Ellis and Claire Laframboise both of Windsor, Ontario. One brother, Gilbert Todd Jr. and his wife Madge of Ky. and one sister, Margaret McNally and her husband Richard of Sharpsburg, MD.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Woodward Ellis and one granddaughter, Jessica Mae Ellis.
Memorial services will be held June 1, 2011 at the Kerr Funeral Home in Lexington, KY. with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery.
