Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Rev. Herbert Berry, husband, Ernest Lakes, children, Gordon H. Berry and his wife Linda, Sandra Lynn Spenneberg, Warren Ray Berry, stepdaughter, Emily Boggs and her husband Don, and brothers, Edmond Todd and Harold Todd.
Ms. Lakes is survived by two children, Wanda Campbell and her husband W.L. of Corbin, KY, Ken Berry and his wife Betty of Berea, KY, daughter-in-law, Linda Berry of Berea, KY, two stepchildren, Darlene Martin and her husband Jack of Rockcastle Co., Kennon Lakes and his wife Edna of Ohio, brother, Herman Todd of Rockcastle Co., two sisters, Louise Bale of IL, Wilmoth Abney of Mount Vernon, KY, eight grandchildren, David Berry and his wife Sandy, Lisa Hatfield and her husband Jack, Terry Campbell and his wife Melissa, Darla Langford and her husband Rolan, Jomicah Berry and his wife Miranda, Philip Berry and his wife Stephanie, Charles Spenneberg, Todd Spenneberg and his wife Kristi, special friend and prayer partner, Dorothy Rader, 15 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00PM Thursday May 13, 2021 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Wayne Harding officiating. Burial will follow in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery.
