Mrs. Melissa Louise "Missy" (Tosh) Carman, 44, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.

Missy entered this life on September 29, 1969, in Neosho, Missouri, one of four daughters born to the union of Ronnie D. and Barbara Ann (Cornell) Tosh. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1987 graduate of McDonald County High School. She had worked for Hudson Foods in Noel, Missouri before beginning her career with Wal-Mart. She was supervisor of warehouse #8 in Bentonville until 2008 when her health began to fail. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Exciting Living Word Fellowship in Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Tosh on September 16, 2007; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Betty Cornell; and paternal grandparents, Beryl and Fannie Tosh.

On April 6, 1991 she was united in marriage to Rodd A. Carman and he survives of the home. Additional survivors include her son, Derrek Carman of the home; her father, Ronnie Tosh and wife, T.J., of Neosho, Missouri; three sisters, Rebecca Hembree and husband, Brad, of Seneca, Missouri, Lori Ledford and husband, Jeff, of Anderson, Missouri and Kristi Tosh of Fayetteville, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Missy will be held on Friday morning, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Haskell Martin officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Robert Cornell, David Cornell, Randy Cornell, Daniel Tosh, Tony Tosh and Clifton Tosh.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
