Several years ago an information kiosk was erected at the Benbrook Cemetery by an Eagle Scout candidate. The official records of the cemetery are posted. Mary's information is listed here.

The yellow soil probe marks the location of Mary's grave. There is no headstone.

There is an "unknown" marker at the foot of Mary's grave. That marker is a little misleading because the cemetery association does have exact records indicating that she is indeed buried at this spot.

The yellow soil probe marks the location of Marys grave according to the cemetery records. Official cemetery records indicate there is no headstone. I pushed the probe deep over a large area to determine if there might be a headstone which has become buried over time but I found no evidence of a buried headstone.
