"Maxine T. Chilson, of Bradenton, died April 22 at home.

There will be no local visitation. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fogartyville Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Fellows officiating. Burial will be in Fogartyville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Born in Seneca, Mo., Mrs. Chilson came to Bradenton from Washington, D.C., in 1949. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Founder's Circle of the Garden Club of Manatee County, a member of the Service Club and a lifetime member of the Historical Society of Manatee County. She was a member of the Bradenton Country Club and an honorary member of the Florida Sheriff's Association.

She is survived by her husband, Col. F.A. (Brud); three sisters, Marie Walker of Southwest City, Mo., Delphine Boyd of Joplin, Mo. and Beulah Long of Langley, Okla.; and two brothers, Ardy J. Tosh of Dallas, and Paul A. Tosh of Grove, Okla."
