Sandora M. Young, 70, of Clearfield died on Monday, December 12, 2005 at her residence.
She was born on November 1, 1935 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Samuel and Carmella (Giuffre)Toto.
Mrs. Young was employed by the former Kent Sportswear and the former McGregor's Sportswear for a total of 29 years.
She was a member at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and volunteered at the St. Francis School cafeteria.
She is survived by three children, Deborah A. Feathers and husband Terry of Clearfield, Leo Mark Young and wife Carolyn Hjembo of Bremerton, WA, and Carol A. Young of Midlothian, VA; three grandchildren, Lucas William Feathers, Bethany A. Feathers, David Mark Young; two sisters and three brothers, Josephine Pasquariello and husband Angelo of Clearfield, Santo Toto and wife Angeline of Clearfield, Jean Young and husband Chick of Clearfield, James Toto and wife Honey of State College and John Toto and wife Anna Marie of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo W. Young on August 29, 2002 and whom she married July 7, 1956 in St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 9-9:30 AM.
A Christian Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:45 PM.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Nathaniel Yingling Cancer Center, Clearfield Hospital, PO Box 992, Clearfield or to the American Cancer Society, 119 East Market Street, Clearfield.
