PRETTY PRAIRIE - Donald V. Toto, 70, died Nov. 25, 2008, at Via Christi Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita. He was born Jan. 4, 1938, at Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Charles and Angela Caroulo Toto. A longtime resident of Pretty Prairie, he was a retired programs manager for Lockheed Missiles and Space. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

On June 18, 1985, he married Brenda Barnes at Reno, Nev. She survives. Other survivors include: sons Don and Dave; daughter Denise; stepson, Scott McConnell; stepdaughter, Kristen Otto; brother Charles; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Richard, and a sister Dorothy Mekisich.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Livingston Funeral Home, with Rev. Karen Harvester presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman. Memorials may be made with the Kidney Transplant Medication Fund in care of the funeral home.
