Lois Jean Totten Amos , 77, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at CAMC - General Division in Charleston, WV.

Born March 19, 1934 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Lois Mayme Thompson Totten.

She was a retired real estate agent.

Mrs. Amos was a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill, the Women of the Church of God, Quota International of the Plateau Area, Beta Sigma Phi and the Oak Hill Garden Club. She was a graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving family, husband, George Amos, five children, Karen Sue Mochoruk and husband, George of Chicago, IL, George Edward Amos of Oak Hill, Gary Wayne Amos and wife, Vida of Chicago, IL, Randall Brent Amos of Oak Hill and Lois Ann Amos and husband, Richard Arnt of Fayetteville, two sisters, Patsy Plott of Maricopa, AZ and Doretta Totten of Chicago, IL and three brothers, Robert Totten of Tulsa, OK, Carl Totten of Alabama and Edgar Totten of Oak Hill.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, in Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe and Rev. Tonya Shupe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV

Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Ricky Stawkchey, Jeff Pinnick will serve as pallbearers.
