Lorene Towns Brown Bailey age 86 passed away Monday, May 21, 2012. Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, may 26, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Pickard officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey was a native of Telfair County but had made her home in Milledgeville. She was retired from Edenfield Vending Service and was a member of Midway Methodist Church in McRae. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lucy Spires Towns, her husbands Stewart Brown and Royce Bailey, four sisters, Annie Swilley, Vettie Billue, Bessie Proctor, and Lucile Gibson, two brothers, James Towns and Payton Towns, Sr.

Survivors include her sisters Pauline Garrison of Helena, Louise Manning of Ridgeland, MS, Ruby Ivey of Bonaire, Katherine Keller of Ridgecrest, CA, sister-in-law Myra Towns of Milledgeville and a number of nieces and nephews including Cathy Alford and Mark Towns.

Friends who wish may make contribution to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10AM until 11AM at Moores Funeral Home.

Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
