DWIRE, Adria Trimble, 93, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was born on July 29, 1921 in Pulaski County, the daughter of Coral D. Trimble and Isabelle Wilson. She was sister to Othel, Lewell, Etheredge, Versie and Marie (Cecil Baker).

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 64 years, Leslie F. Dwire.

As she wished, she was cremated.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Jackie Nash Torlage (George) of New Orleans, LA, Rita Dwire (Huston Monarch) and Joan Stearns; grandchildren, Jason Nash, Zachary Stearns (Sarah) and Evan Stearns.

Throughout her life, Adria was a hairdresser at the finest downtown stores and she retired from Fairmeade Beauty Salon in St. Matthews. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Her family thanks the wonderful, caring staff at Episcopal Church Home, where Adria spent the last year and a half of her life.

Her memorial visitation will be held Monday, November 10th from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
