Lois Jean Calhoun, age 65, of Somerset, departed this life on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.
Lois was born on September 26, 1950 in Somerset, to the late Leonard and Ruth Dugger Trimble.
She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Ping Jr. of Newport, KY and Thomas E. Ping of Somerset; a brother, David Trimble of Somerset; a sister, Linda Sue Tyree of Eubank, KY; five grandchildren, Brittany Ping, Elizabeth Blankenship, Kortni Ping, Hannah Neeley, Samantha Wesley; and a daughter in-law, Monice Bradley of Somerset.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Calhoun whom she married on September 24, 1977 in Somerset, and preceded her on January 1, 2012; two brothers, Luther Trimble and Lloyd Trimble.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Gilbert Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
