Mrs. Adams was born July 29, 1925 in Limestone County. She was a member of the Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Cooper of Decatur; son, Vernon Adams and wife Laura of Decatur; sisters, Lois Glass and husband Mannon of Athens, Everne Black of Harstelle, Cynetha Leicher and husband Richard of Athens; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James (J.B.) Adams; son-in-law, George Cooper; daughter, Wanda Lucille Adams; parents, Lakin and Beulah Tucker; and brothers, Roy Tucker and Marvin Tucker.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Marks officiating. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery.
