Mildred Tucker Beaty, age 86 of Ider died Saturday, August 16 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are Tuesday at 11 am cdt in the chapel with Bro. Steve Lea officiating and burial to follow in Chestnut Grove cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1 to 8 pm Sunday, 10 am until 8 pm Monday and 9 am until service time on Tuesday.
Survivors include, daughter, Theresa Westbrook(Danny), daughter-in-law, Patti Beaty, grandchildren, LaRanda Westbrook, Darren Westbrook(Angie), Toni Carrigan(Sean), Corey Weldon(Tobie), great-grandchildren, Austin, Jeremy, Madison, Jacob and Ivey, brother, T. M. Tucker, sister, Edith White and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beaty was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Katie Banister Tucker, husband, Wendell Beaty, son, Steven Beaty, sisters, Ada White, Ida Williams, Lela Conoway, Polly White, brothers, Clarence Tucker, A. G. Tucker, Carter Tucker and Cornelius Tucker. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church.
