Patsy Jean Turnbull Adams passed away April 4, 2014. She was born in Winder on March 4, 1943. She was a member of Rutledge Baptist Church. She was retired from the Bank of Madison, where she worked as a teller. She enjoyed gardening, hummingbirds and shopping. Most of all Mrs. Adams loved her precious grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her son Mark Adams and Lori and her grandchildren Mason William Adams and Abbey Kathryn Adams, all of Rutledge and a brother Jerry Turnbull of Winder. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. "Billy" Adams, a son Terry William Adams, mother Julia Stinchcomb Jones, father P. T. Turnbull and Dot and a sister Maryann Griffeth. Visitation was held Sunday, April 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A service followed at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home with Preacher Wayne Ghann officiating. Interment was held at Studdard Cemetery. A. E. Carter Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
