Funeral services for Ada Jennie Alexander, who died Saturday, August 18, 1973, in the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville, were conducted Monday, August 20, 1973 at the First Baptist Church in Steele with the Reverend James McCrary and the Reverend Luther Cravens officiating.

Born April 25, 1888, in Cerro Gordo, Tenn., she married Don Alexander November 25, 1906.

She leaves her husband; one son, Robert Alexander of Helena, Ark.; three daughters: Stella Alexander of Steele, Anna Mae Sneed of Dexter, Mo., and Helen Threet of Memphis; two brothers, Parker Turner of Spring Lake, Mich., and Morris Turner of Steele; three sisters: Dorothy McDaniel, Mrs. Euna Campbell, and Mrs. Lorene Yarbrough, all of Steele; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

One son, Hobart Alexander, preceded her in death

Pallbearers were Willie D. McDaniel, Harry Burton, Jr., Paul Yarbrough, John Yarbrough, Howard Burns, and Robert Nicholas.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
