The funeral of Mrs. Eliza M. Twombly will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Gonzales officiating. Deceased, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Twombly, was born at Buffalo, Ill., and with her parents removed to Butler, Mo., at the age of 11 years. The family came to Cedar Rapids in 1888 where she was married to Eugene W. Broussard by Rev. A. K. Ward on June 30, 1889. With the exception of one year she has since resided in this city. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and lived a most exemplary Christian life. She leaves a husband and two little girls to mourn her loss. Services will be held at the family residence at 1233 North Fourth street west, with interment at Linwood.
