Edith Ungar, 87, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005. She was born Dec. 22, 1917, in Windham Center, Conn., and resided in Las Vegas for 47 years. Edith was a homemaker and member of Temple Beth Sholom. She is survived by her son, David Jesse Ungar; daughters, Judith Jaye Neuenkirch and Kim Evelyn O'Brien; daughter-in-law, Kim Ungar, all of Las Vegas; grandchildren, David, Jake and Matthew; sisters, Doris Wandling of Columbia, Conn., and Barbara McCollum of Coventry, Conn.; and brother, James Rood of Windham, Conn. Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Interment immediately following at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jewish Family Service Agency. Arrangements were handled by King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery.
