Mrs. Imogene Adcock, 92, of Hamburg, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mrs. Adcock was a native and resident of Hamburg for most of her life and a former resident of Parkdale and Wilmot for several years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gaines Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Winford Adcock; seven sons, Johnny Mike (Droopy), Gary Dean, Harold, Billy Wayne, Steve, Paul and Eddie Roy Adcock; her parents, Ed & Ronnie Jeffcoat Vail; a sister, Corrine Roberts and four brothers, Mac Norris Vail, Arnold Vail, Leroy Vail and James Vail.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Adcock of Bastrop, Louisiana; a daughter, Shirley Adcock Walker of Hamburg; three brothers, Ed Vail of Hamburg, Pete Vail of Bastrop, Louisiana and Lane Vail of Monroe, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services and burial are 10 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 in the Beulah Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
