Leola Van Crawford, 89, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away peacefully Monday, July 13, 2015, at home.
She was born June 17, 1926, in Magnolia, Miss., to Claude and Alma Van.
Leola moved to Port Charlotte in 1971 with her husband Othar Crawford from Belle Glade, Fla.
She is survived by her loving family, including a son, Mitchell (Chris) Crawford of Port Charlotte; two foster sons, Dennis Kinlaw of LaBelle, Fla., and David Kinlaw of Belle Glade; a brother, Ronnie (Ada) Van of Mississippi; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Othar; and son, Sonny Crawford.
