Double service will be held in the Methodist Church here at 2 p.m. Saturday for Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Bennett, of Route 3, Stockton, who died within six hours of each other Wednesday.
Mrs. Bennett, 79, died at 9:50 a.m. after suffering an apparent stroke, and her husband, 73, died at 4:30 a.m. from an apparent heart attack.
They are survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Sanders, Springfield, and Miss Helen Bennett, Sacramento, Calif.; two sons, Tim of Billingham, Wash. and Van, of Modesto, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by four brothers, G. Bennett Van Buskirk, Winter Park, Fla., the Rev. Justin Van Buskirk, Stockton, Calif., Lyman Van Buskirk, Stockton, and Deloss Van Buskirk, St. Joseph; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Parks, Parker, Kan.
Other survivors of Mr. Bennett include a sister, Mrs. Edna Trevathan, of Rawlings, Wyo.
