WOODSTOCK - Mable M. Van Hoozen, 82, 920 Seminary Ave., Woodstock, died Monday, Oct. 8, 1984, in Memorial Hospital, Woodstock.
She was born July 23, 1902, in Hebron, the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle (Sink) Michnick. On Oct. 7, 1920, in Woodstock, she married Evan "Pat" Van Hoozen, who preceded her in death in 1980.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. May Menzel and Mrs. Celia Feldt, both of Woodstock; a niece, Mrs. Audrey Haager, Woodstock.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Claude.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock, and a past Noble Grand of Woodstock Rebekan Lodge 205.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock, with Rev. Earl Kinney officiating. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock.
Memorials may be made to the church or Woodstock Rescue Squad.
