Obituary - Mrs. Mary F. Albin, aged 89, a lifelong resident of Patchogue, died Wednesday at her home, 203 West Main Street, Patchogue. Mrs. Albin, widow of John E. Albin, Civil War veteran, who died about 20 years ago, was born in Patchogue, the daughter of Jacob and Sarah Jones Vanderbilt. She leaves two sons, John C. Albin and Everett H. Albin, both of Patchogue, and three grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. today at the Ruland's chapel, North Ocean Avenue, Patchogue, the Rev. Waldo E. Putnam, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Lakeview Cemetery, Patchogue. (Note: the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reported her name as Alice F. Albin)
